When I immigrated to Canada many years ago, I encountered many obstacles and challenges. Financial stress was building as I worked hard. I never felt like I was in total control. I, like most Canadians, became dependent on the guidance of the Government and Financial Industry, hoping they would help me win the financial game and I would become financially independent.

As a serial entrepreneur, I experienced my share of wins and losses; however, I never felt really truly calm & comfortable regarding my financial life even as I amassed wealth. This forced me to start asking a different set of questions because I realized that following the playbook laid out by the government and financial institutions wasn’t helping my hard-earned wealth grow and work as hard as I was while earning it. How do Canadians win when they’re losing their wealth unknowingly and unnecessarily to factors like inflation, banking fees, and monthly interest that we pay out to the government and the financial institutions? Was the game rigged?

My pursuit of financial literacy and answers provided a revelation of how money and interest truly work, and how those who understand the rules earn interest, grow their wealth versus the majority of Canadian who pay interest and erode their wealth. This revelation came in understanding the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC). The Infinite Banking Concept lit a fire in me and now serves as my life’s passion to do my best to share what I’ve learned with others, especially fellow immigrants so that they can build their wealth on a strong financial foundation and ultimately have a better future in Canada.
