After working 12 hour night shifts as a postpartum nurse for 20 years I was ready for a change. I decided to pivot to helping people with their financial health rather than their physical health. I started in the financial industry with products designed to help people have a better retirement, but I could never get passionate about products that tied up people’s money. I had diligently saved in my 403B throughout my nursing career and it was very frustrating that I had to pay penalties to access what I considered to be my money. I liked the idea of the tax write off, but what I didn’t realize at the time was that I was simply deferring the tax only to pay even more taxes in the future. When i first learned about the infinite banking concept I was fascinated and hungry for as much information as I could get. I now have a passion for helping people realize that they can take back control of their money and no longer have to depend on banks who are the ones making all the money off the deposits that are left there. I sure wish I had known about this concept many years ago, but i am so grateful to know about it now and have the ability to help transform the financial future of generations to come.
