Mark Benson

Mark is the founder and president of Resource One and Ameritime, Inc., where for the past 36 years, he has focused on educating individuals/families about their money. Through a unique ability teamwork approach to this education, Mark and his colleagues have helped over 1600 families incorporate the IBC into their financial lives.

Additionally, since the summer of 2009, Mark has worked to create The Control Option Process which helps explain The Control Option Mindset. The focus of the Control Option Process is to help Americans think through three significant events we are all experiencing:
1. We are receiving approximately 0% rate of return on our money in the banks.
2. We are experiencing significant opportunity loss on our income.
3. We are receiving a 0% rate of return on the equity in our homes.

What is the Control Option Process?
1. Discover – This step is unique because we utilize a series of “customized” thinking exercises to enhance the understanding of one’s financial picture.
2. Strategize – This step is taken with input from our Integrated Financial Network® (our “faculty” of financial professionals).
3. Measure & Monitor – Our commitment includes measuring and monitoring one’s financial progress for the rest of their life and for the generations to follow.

What is the Control Option Mindset?
1. Option to Control – We have THE OPTION to CONTROL more of our cash flow and wealth. Today, for many, the government and banks control a significant percentage of our cash flow and wealth, resulting in unnecessary financial tension.
2. Opportunity Loss – We have the ability to dramatically reduce opportunity loss on our income.
3. Cash Flow Efficiency – We want people to understand the important differences between efficient and inefficient cash flow loans.

Mark is a licensed broker for both health and life insurance in several states. He was born and raised in Monroe City, Missouri, and currently resides in Festus, Missouri with his wife, Debbie. In his free time, if not watching or attending a St. Louis Cardinal’s or Mizzou Tiger’s sporting event, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, including his ever-growing broad of grandchildren.
