Blair Carruthers

Blair Carruthers, was born and raised in West Central Saskatchewan and always wanted to be a farmer. BUT with the high interest rates of the late 1980’s and 1990’s making farming even more challenging, Blair decided to further his education. He Graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Agricultual Economics and Finance (1990), after which he pursued a career in Agriculture Finance within the banking industry. Always wanting to farm or operate his own business, Blair left the banking industry and purchased his first Ag retail, farm fertilizer and Chemical business and also operated an Ag Financial consulting business. After several decades of operating various Agricultural enterprises, Blair decided to concentrate on his passion of becoming a Farm Financial Strategist. He obtained his Life Insurance License, and furthered his education which he now uses to advise, coach and mentor his clients, and assists then to navigate the current and future financial landscape. Blair and Jennifer have been married for 34 years and have 5 adult children, some of which are following in his footsteps to be able to offer strategic advice for the next generation of Agricultural Producers and Business Owners. Blair’s team looks forward to developing a specific strategy for your individual needs.
