My journey with the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC) began with a deep desire to free our businesses from debt. Along with my wife, Mimi, I own and operate the Humuya Inn, an award-winning boutique hotel and corporate apartment complex in Honduras. I knew there had to be a better way than overworking ourselves or taking on excessive risk just to pay off business debts.

I discovered IBC in 2010 through R. Nelson Nash's book, Becoming Your Own Banker. What I read seemed almost too good to be true, so I spent 18 months investigating the concept further. After meeting Mr. Nash at one of his conferences, I became a believer and opened several policies. Today, I am recapturing the very debt that once kept me up at night. By paying it back, I am effectively building a private bank for my business and family.

IBC changed my life so drastically that I decided to become an agent, hoping to help friends and families escape the same "financial slavery" I endured for twenty years. Teaching and coaching others on how to "Become Your Own Banker" brings me immense joy. Thanks to this new financial knowledge, we have expanded our real estate portfolio by purchasing several single-family homes in Jacksonville, Florida, and additional properties in Alabama.

After 20 years living in Honduras, our family relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2012. While we enjoy exploring the West Coast and the great state of Arizona, we maintain strong ties to Honduras and Central America. In 2020, our family started the Inspirata Foundation—a Christian, family-run organization dedicated to providing specific and targeted assistance to further the health, education, and well-being of the children of Honduras (www.inspiratafoundation.com). Thanks to the support of our friends and family, Inspirata has awarded scholarships to 20 youth for college and high school. Together, we have built 13 houses and distributed over a thousand backpacks filled with school supplies, uniforms, and shoes. Outside of finance and travel, we enjoy tennis, soccer, and mountain biking.
