Jim received his bachelors degree in education from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1985. While at OBU he played four years of baseball, eventually being inducted into the OBU Hall of Fame. Jim was a first round draft pick of the Philadelphia Phillies in 1982, and a 23rd round pick by the Seattle Mariners in 1985. After playing baseball all over the world with Athletes in Action, he taught school and coached baseball in Colorado Springs before going into business. Jim eventually moved into management, bringing in new technology for the business that had an annual budget of $10 million. In 1993 Jim was asked to lead a non-profit organization which he still leads today after 30 years. Jim has put together and led nearly 130 teams to Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Micronesia.
Jim was introduced to Infinite Banking in 2012 and quickly began putting the system to work in his personal finances. In 2014 he passed the national exams for a licensed insurance agent and joined an agency that practiced the IBC system, passing the IBC Master’s designation. He is currently licensed in 13 states.
Jim, and his wife Jenny, have been married for 39 years, have four married children, and ten grandchildren. They have used their IBC policies to grow other business in real estate, vacation rentals, and online businesses. Because of his non-profit work, Jim has a passion to teach people how to use IBC to build charitable giving policies which become so powerful over time.
Jim lives and works out of Cody, Wyoming. His interests include anything with grandchildren, hunting, fishing, camping, teaching business and leadership principles, and leisure travel with his wife.
