Brandon Neely is an Authorized Infinite Banking Practitioner, Profit First Professional, and co-founder of Counterflow, where he helps business owners and families build financial systems designed around greater control, liquidity, and long-term confidence.

He didn’t learn these principles from a textbook.

Brandon and his wife, Amanda Neely, CFP®, climbed out of a negative net worth and went on to build Overflow Coffee Bar in Chicago’s South Loop without traditional collateral. From 2011 to 2018, they experienced firsthand the realities of entrepreneurship: cash-flow pressure, debt, taxes, payroll, and making financial decisions with their own money on the line.

Infinite Banking challenged a deeper assumption for Brandon: that people have to surrender control of their money to financial institutions and systems they don’t fully understand.

Challenging assumptions has been a pattern throughout his life.

Before joining the Marine Corps, doctors told Brandon he was too sick to make it through basic training. He joined anyway, choosing the hardest branch on purpose and made it through on discipline, not permission.
That lesson still shapes his work today:
