Richard Canfield Practitioner Council Member
Richard Canfield Joined the Practitioner program when it launched in 2013. Richard was introduced to Becoming Your Own Banker in 2009 thanks to his friend and colleague, Jayson Lowe. It changed his life forever. In 2012, he attended his first IBC Think Tank and Nelson Nash's live 10-hour seminar, meeting Nelson for the first time. Getting to know Nelson Nash before passing in 2019 has been one of Richard's greatest joys.
He has been actively involved in the community as a Mentor for other practitioners, a regular attendee, a speaker and even the master of ceremonies at Annual Think Tank events.
In 2018, Richard was invited to participate in making what would become the Documentary film celebrating Nelson's message of financial hope. This is Nelson Nash: Creator of The Infinite Banking Concept, which has been watched over 250,000 times since its public release in June of 2019.
Mary Jo Irmen Practitioner Council Member
Mary Jo was introduced to Infinite Banking in November of 2010. Within a month of hearing about this she quit her job and pursued this as a career full time. February 2011 was the first think tank she attended and met Nelson and Mary as they stood by the conference room door welcoming people. Nelson said to one of the other attendees, “She’s a spit fire.”
Mary Jo has only missed one think tank since that time. She has written two books, with Nelson’s blessing, on IBC, meant to accompany Becoming Your Own Banker, not replace it and hosted Nelson several times and had him speak at her events. Mary Jo is very dedicated to Nelson’s mission and a true advocate of the Infinite Banking Concept, as she says, “ I eat, sleep and breathe IBC.”
