The Fruits of Graft
By Wayne Jett
Economic depressions do not just happen. Each has causes. This book identifies specific actions which caused and prolonged the Great Depression of 1929-1940, names the culpable officials and the private interests which influenced them. The mercantilist economic system practiced by America’s small circle of dominant elite is examined and detailed from colonial days to 2011, with emphasis on the Great Depression and the financial destruction experienced in 2008 and thereafter.
